Various products made of this material are really installed very easily and quickly, due to their low weight and ease of machining, but during this process it is still necessary to follow certain technological rules that will ensure maximum efficiency and durability of insulation.

Since the most popular products made of foamed polyethylene are ready-made pipes used to insulate pipelines, we will consider the correct procedure for their installation. First of all, it is necessary to properly prepare for installation the pipeline itself: clean it from dust and dirt, as well as degrease. The process of installing insulation is not complicated, because it is available in the form of ready-made tubes, which are simply put on the pipe, like a regular stocking. However, this method is possible only if the pipes have not yet been installed. Otherwise, the insulation must be cut with a knife, put on the pipe, and then fixed with aluminized (in some cases, you can use ordinary) tape. Very often, manufacturers at the factory make an incision on the products, which can be easily divided. Since foamed polyethylene is characterized by high resistance to aggressive environments (it is completely inert to moisture and chemicals), the installation of insulation can be considered complete, because it does not require additional finishing, unlike most similar materials.
